Why We Name Our Jewelry After Stars 

        Because no two pearls are alike — and neither are the stars.Jewelry has always had names. Collections, brands, eras. But at BRILLIAN@T, we decided to go further.We give a name to every single piece — and every name is real.

        Each necklace, earring or gem in our catalogue bears the name of a real celestial body: a star officially recorded in the catalogue of the International Astronomical Union — the global authority on astronomical naming.Why?Because pearls, like stars, are unique natural creations. 

Formed in darkness.  Transformed by pressure.  Revealed by light.  And never truly identical.

The Soul of Naming 

To name something is to recognise its individuality.To give it a name — not just a number — is to say: this one is unlike any other.That’s why every piece in our collection receives a name that belongs to a real star — not just for poetry, but for precision.

       There are only 336 stars in the official IAU catalogue with true names. Each has its own history, its own brilliance, its own coordinates in the universe.We don’t name by trend.We name by character. 

-  A soft green overtone? Perhaps Albali — the “drop of water.” 

-  A bold, glowing luster? Maybe Ainalrami, the “eye of the archer.” 

-  A mysterious asymmetry? It might be Chara, the “joy.” 

        Each name is chosen to reflect the soul of the pearl.
